The RIBI Young Photographer competition is back!
This year it's bigger and better with a chance to get your work noticed at a national level (great if you are studying media, art or ICT and plan do something creative in the future - or just love photography). We had a great turn out last year and I'm hoping that everyone will get out and about with their camera taking some great shots for the competition. There are 3 age groups:
Junior: Aged 7 - 10 years
Intermediate: Aged 11 - 13
Senior: Aged 14 - 17
The closing date is the 8th March (this will give us enough time to get your entry to the Rotary Club), and the theme is Peace. As I always say, you don't need a great camera to take a great shot - just research your ideas using Flickr, or simply google the word peace and think about what it might mean to you, ask friends and family what they think it means and how you might represent it in a photograph.
To enter, please download and print the entry form below, fill it in, attach your photo (or put it all in an envelope) and hand it to either me (Mr Leman) Mr Crosby or Student Services. I'd really like everyone to submit their photo electronically as well so we can have an online gallery too (last year was great). If your having problems, please email and we'll do our best to help. Good luck and happy snapping!
